Day 3 – Reynolds
Go Grocery shoping with mom
Em gets carsick
Eggs & Bacon for breakfast when we return
Go swimming at the shut-ins
Mom has to go to work
Pork Steak and baked potatoes at Dads
Stay up for mom to get home from work
Bed at 11
Day 4 – Reynolds
Up at 6:30 a
Pack and head for the river
At the river by 8 still early enough to watch the fog
Swim a while and then dad takes me & the big kids up the river to float down
Everyone sunburns (realize Chrys sent suntan lotion, but it is too late now)
Mom joins us for the BBQ but then has to head to work @ 12:30
Aunt Marla, Uncle Bob & Wyatt get there just as mom leaves
They hang out with us until the storm rolls in (lightning and playing in the river don’t mix)
We pack up about 3:30 Uncle Dale, Brenda, Lois etc. get there just as we are packing
Back on the road to visit Pate & Grama by 4:00 stay there for a half hour or so and then had to dad’s to do laundry & pack for the morning
One trip to the grocery store and 2 trips to go swimming put over 150 miles on the car
